I'm Miles from where you are...

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! I went to my Grandmother's for lunch. It was fun to an extent. Everyone is so different when they are around other family members. People get annoying and brag about everything, something I do not enjoy listening to. But I love going to my Grandmother's house because I love all the land and I love my Grandmother so much! She lives on so much land! It beautiful and its easy to get lost by exploring it all!

The woods around my grandmother's house are beautiful. Every time I visit I wonder around searching for new places to to explore, going deeper and deeper into the woods. The woods are almost enchanting in their own way. As I was walking around these woods I had the song "Set the Fire to the third bar" by snow patrol on repeat. The song sparks so many images, to me its about a lost lover, a lover who has been separated from her/his lover. In part of the song the lyrics "I'm miles from where you are, I lay down on the cold ground and I pray that something picks me up and sets me down in your warm arms", just sparks so many images of a girl laying down staring up into the night sky hoping to see a shooting to make a wish. A wish to find her lover and to be with him.

What I am listening to: Set the fire to the third bar by Snow patrol
why: I have been working on a novel and the song basically goes with one of the chapters, it speaks for it.
Why you like it: I like the harmony that is going on between the lead singer of Snow Patrol and the women. The lyrics are great as well.

Lovely photos, brought me a smile:)
Don't mean to compare...but, when I saw the 2nd and 3rd photos, reminded me a bit of twilight...

I love when that happens, when I'm writing something a song fits perfectly.
