School is for the COOL.

I promise thee that I will post an outfit soon, but for now I wont.
So school, yeah its happening! Classes are long, like 2-3 hours long. What makes me smile in those classes is the fact that I don't know any of the people in there, that I get to people watch...as creepy as that sounds I don't mean the literal..no actually I do, but I don't stare down everyone in class, its more like glances. So today I was people watching during my learning process, people watching in a discreet sort of way and I saw a guy in my class drawing hearts all over his notes. I know what you are thinking...why is this guy drawing hearts all over his paper. Well to be honest I dont know and can't answer that question, but I can assume...we all can assume. I assume that he is in love and had his mind else where instead of listening to the math lecture. I find that kind of behavior beautiful, though not paying attention in class is a bad thing.
So I am going to go ahead and say I guess chivalry is not dead...I mean today 3 guys opened the door for me, I know you are thinking "Wow its just a guy opening a door" well I am used to being the one who opens the doors for everyone. Today Before my last class which is of course 2d design, I was lugging around my art supplies for the class and I was walking toward the student center just to hang out for a bit before class and this guy opened the door for me and he was about 10 feet away from the door, so he had to sprint to open it. I was grateful, very grateful. Then when I was leaving the student center for class I picked my the apple core(I had just finished an apple) so I picked up my apple core and plastic container of art supplies and began towards the door again, my phone fail to the floor and 3 guys jumped up to come pick it up. Is it just me or are college guys just that much nicer than high school guys.  Then when I got to the building where my art class was a guy opened the door for me...honestly seeing polite work being done makes me smile.
Not going to lie, but I love being cynical and sarcastic...its like who I am, but there is that time where I wish I wasn't maybe things would be different...

Missing me some Godric from true blood, too bad he let the sun burn him, beautiful ending...though I am still obsessed and haven't got enough of him yet, hopefully he will show up in flash backs. If you haven't watched true blood or you have and you haven't seen the episode below dont watch the clip...or if you are just curious you can watch it.

ooh i know exactly what you mean. I'm in high school and have only had one high school guy open a door for me. but it was so so so nice. i think maybe that since college guys have been kicked out of home and don't have their mom to take care of them that they have realized that the use of politeness that they had always been taught about is actually useful! ha just a thought.
